Review: Passion (ARC)

Teaser:

Luce would die for Daniel.
And she has. Over and over again. Throughout time, Luce and Daniel have found each other, only to be painfully torn apart: Luce dead, Daniel left broken and alone. But perhaps it doesn’t need to be that way. . . .
Luce is certain that something—or someone—in a past life can help her in her present one. So she begins the most important journey of this lifetime . . . going back eternities to witness firsthand her romances with Daniel . . . and finally unlock the key to making their love last.
Cam and the legions of angels and Outcasts are desperate to catch Luce, but none are as frantic as Daniel. He chases Luce through their shared pasts, terrified of what might happen if she rewrites history.
Because their romance for the ages could go up in flames . . . forever.
Sweeping across centuries, PASSION is the third novel in the unforgettably epic FALLEN series.
From Barnes and Noble

Review: I felt this was the best of the three Fallen books so far. Lauren Kate does a wonderful job touching the readers with a bit of  new information for the readers & fans to eat up and love.
This was a very gripping story, the various settings make the story interesting and fun as Luce travels and learns more about herself each chapter.
The way the story not only follows Luce, but Danial as well makes the story much more fun and interesting for the reader, and makes the overall outcome much more understandable.

Criticism: I had some trouble following some of the terms they used to describe some of the actions. I feel the story would have been easier to follow if there had been more explanation for the readers who may not understand all of the lingo.

Rating:

Story: 85/100
Comment: Very gripping, loved it.

Speed: 85/100
Comment: Fast paced

Originality: 90/100
Comment: Unlike anything I have ever read.

  1. I haven't heard of the Fallen series, but I am interested. However, sometimes I am thrown by lingo created by the author. I think I will be picking up this novel just to give it a shot.

Does it tie in with another novel directly, or could it stand alone?

You should definitely read the first two books before this one. It is a great series but you have to be able to follow whats going on from the last books to understand anything.

  4. I've only read the first book but I wasn't thoroughly impress with that one. However, I'm determine to move on to the second book and see if the story will pick up the pace further from there. I'm glad to hear that the third book is great! Thanks for the great review =)
