Top Ten Tuseday 11/6/12

Top Ten Tuesday is Hosted by the ladies at Broke and Bookish
This Week's topic: Freebie!

Because  it is a freebie week I decided to do my favorite upcoming covers for books that aren't out quite yet.

The Darkest Minds I really Love the gold on this cover, it looks like it's liquid almost!

Level 2 I really like this cover because it's weird and interesting! I really like how clean it looks!

Uses for Boys I love the use of Christmas lights on the cover, I love how magical they seem!

A Shimmer of Angels I loved the use of color on this cover, it really stands out!

Etiquette and Espionage I love how strange this cover is, it just looks very clean and yet weird!

Pivot Point This cover looks very strange and I love the glittering little dot things!

Let the Sky Fall The Background is why I love this cover, it looks just astonishing!

Going Vintage This cover is also a stand out cover that just screams I'm Awesome!

The Elite *Fan girls* Okay, one, I loved the first book, two I love to colors of this cover!

Invisibility I love the neon coloring on this cover!

  2. I love the lights in Uses for Boys! I'm not so sure how much I like the dress choice for Elite. It went from a pretty blue to orange? My TTT

  3. Oh, how I love pretty covers! I am kind of in love with the cover for The Darkest Minds. I've inspected that one really close up, and the black background isn't exactly black- it seems to have little flecks of dark blue, green, etc. SO pretty. I'm getting that book even if it's only so it can look pretty on my shelf! I also really like the cover for The Elite (although The Selection wasn't my favorite book, I still plan to pick up the sequel). I feel like the red is not only pretty, but symbolic.

Fantastic picks Erika! I always love drooling over pretty covers. What better way to start off the day?!

  5. Fantastic idea for a freebie list! I think Let the Sky Fall is my favourite of these, but I can't honestly really decide - I also especially love Pivot Point, Uses for boys & The Darkest Minds.

I ended up doing Top Ten Tips for managing the TBR list for my TTT post, because it's something I've been thinking about all week long!

  9. Great post! I love these covers and I hadn't heard of a few of these. I looked up Uses for Boys and A Shimmer of Angels on Goodreads and they both sound awesome. I'll definitely be reading those now! A personal cover favorite of mine is Days of Blood and Starlight by Laini Taylor. It's gorgeous!

This was a really good topic choice. Everyone loves some pretty covers! :D
