Ahh all these books are ones I've been dying to read! I've never read any from Kimberly Derting, but hear great things -- and Shatter Me has been on my TBR for so long! I keep hearing great things and even had a library copy, but didn't get to it in time before it was due :( I follow Tehereh Mafi on Twitter and just her tweets make me laugh and are awesome - I can only imagine her book!
