To celebrate, I will use gifs for the first, and probably the only time.

I started this blog two years ago with no aspirations for it to continue for long, nor did I realize I would like it so much. It all started with a book I had won in a giveaway and an interest in reviewing it (it's a terrible review by the way, don't look for it.)

It was not easy, and I'm not going to pretend it was. For the longest time I had no clue what I was doing, and I had no one to help me figure that out. I had a lot to learn about writing reviews, and getting out there as well as followers vs. readers, and how to find books (the library, guys. It's magic.) I have learn so much the past two years, and thank you to everyone who has stuck with me all this time!

It took me a while to make friends around here because I didn't join Twitter until about five months after I started my blog, but once I did there was a whole new community of bloggers that all of a sudden I could connect with, and that helped me a lot. I've made all sorts of friends and I love you guys so much!

Since last year I've done all sorts of crazy things including participating in and winning NaNoWriMo, meeting another blogger face to face for the first time, meeting all sorts of people online, reading and blogging a lot, and just having fun!

Recently I've been in somewhat of a blogging slump, which sucks but I'm trying to figure it out. I'm still reading but I haven't felt interested in blogging about the books. I hope when summer starts in a few weeks I'll have some more time and I'll have a better time getting into the swing of things.
