UK Hades Cover Release

Sorry if any of the pictures are hard to see.

Just like my previous blog post about the Australian cover release of Hades (on right) and today (June 25th) the the author Alexandra Adornetto posted the UK cover (on the left) on her facebook page. The three covers shown above (in order from left to right) UK, United States, Australia are all very exciting for me and many other fans of the series, and like said in my previous post, all three showing a darker side of the series with the black and red tones and all three showing Bethany with a man, Xavier maybe?
Which cover do you prefer?

Australian Hades Cover Released

Alexandra Adornetto shared on her facebook page the new Australian cover (above) today, 6/24/11 a few months after she shared the American cover (bottom left) Both show a different side of the story compared to the cover of the first book, Halo (bottom right.) With the contrasting red and black cover from the black and yellow cover of the previous book it seems like it promises a different side of the story. I am very intrigued by the contrasting covers.
What do you think of the two Hades covers? Which do you prefer?

What to Look Forward To Reading

My top five can't wait books!

Eternal by Gillian Shields

The third book in the Immortal series. This series is the great book for those going through summertime boredom blues and is sure to brighten your day with the mixture of immortals, magic, and love. Eternal sure going to be interesting when fans are wondering what in the world could come next.

Wildcat Fireflies by Amber Kizer

The Second book in the Meridian series. The first book, Meridian is the story of discovery and love. Meridian has always known she was weird, sick even. Every morning she would wake up to dead animals lying in her bed, and every morning she would clean their remains. But on her 16th birthday something different happens. Upon witnessing a car crash she suddenly feels a sudden pain throughout her body, and her parents send her to live with her great aunt where she finds out her true identity.

 Hades by Alexandra Adornetto

The second book in the Halo series has fans counting down the days (including me!) as you can see on the side of the page (count down bar) as the days get closer and closer, readers get more and more excited.
Halo is the story of love, chance, and of course ANGELS! Who dosn't love those angels?

The Carrier of the Mark by Leigh Fallon

The Carrier of the Mark was discovered my Harper Teen by the website inkpop.com were aspiring authors post their work. Leigh was just lucky enough to land the first spot in the sites history (you go girl!)

I personally do not know exactly what the story is about, I have not read it on inkpop, I'm waiting to buy it is stores. But I can tell you that this is one of my top five this summer.

The Death Cure by James Dashner

The first two books in the Maze runner series leave readers wanting for more from the very beginning. Thomas wakes up at the beginning of the maze runner in a pitch black box, alone and memory-less. The only thing Thomas remembers is just that, his name.
